It’s so ironic, hundreds of expensive computers in the Indonesian house of representatives are already in end-of-life (EOL), DetiKinet reported. The computers which were purchased with million rupiahs are not the latest version. Right now, members of house of represantatives are using Dell Studio One. Previously, Nining Indra Saleh, the general secretary of the house planned to purchase this version in order to support the house members doing their job easily. However, it seems that she had made a wrong decision considering that the newest version of Dell Inspiron One, will be launched immediately.
Apart from that, according to Willy Hendrajudo, a Dell Indonesia marketing manager, Dell Studio One owned by the house members may have different specifications than those that in general market. He said that for special purposes, Dell may add or eliminate some features.
Well, since we’re just a common citizen, let’s just wish that the computers in house of representatives, although EOL and expensive, are still worth it to work.
